6 Hours Left!!

We have six more hours until we are finally on our way!!! We are leaving the house at 4:30AM to get to the Louisville airport and depart at 7:50. From there we will go to Chicago, Miami, and then arrive in Port au Prince at 3:45. As long as my dad stops freaking out and lets us out the door in the morning everything is looking pretty good :). Needless to say we are pretty anxious!

It has been a ridiculous job trying to get our bags under 50 pounds. After packing, re-packing, re-packing, and re-packing it seems we might have it. Hopefully our scale is right!

We still don't really know anything as far as where we will be staying. Might be a tent or it might be a room with a bed. Please keep us in your prayers as we travel and are there. This time next week it sounds like we will probably be sick haha so hopefully that will pass ;) (get it?).

Welcome!

Hey everybody! Thanks for checking out our blog! As of now, we know very little about what we will be doing in Haiti this summer, but as we find out, you will too. We plan to update this blog as much as possible. For now, we would really appreciate prayer.

Here are a few things to be praying about:
1. That God will prepare our hearts
2. For Sam and Delores York(the missionaries we will be staying with)
3. The hearts of the people we will be encountering
4. Safety
5. For arrangements, new flights, etc. to work out (communication with the Yorks, since the earthquake, has been limited)
6. For our dads to stop freakin out! :)


Thank you so much for your continued support and prayer. This journey is going to be incredible, however we are led. There is no way this would be possible without each one of you.
